The “Jabegas” have existed for 3000 years which is why they are now one of the symbols of Malaga. These boats can only be found at the Costa del Sol and they have kept the genuine Fenician paintings such as eyes on the prow. The oar is the rudder just like it used to be back then.
First of all our professional instructor will tell you about these boats’ origins, how they were used in the past and in the present, how they are built etc… this is how we will introduce the group to a unique experience.
Then the group will be divided in different teams. Each team will have its own boat and their own instructor explaining all there is to know.
The goal of this activity is to win a resistence race. Every team will start from the same line, they will have to go to a specific spot in the sea, and come back to the starting point.
